As a family-run business, we’re hands-on in every part of Bushchooks Travellers Village, and we truly love welcoming guests from all over Australia and the world. Having travelled internationally and domestically ourselves, we understand what makes a stay feel comfortable, safe, and personal — and we do our best to provide exactly that.

From the moment you contact us to the time you arrive (and beyond), we’re here to help. Whether it’s answering questions, offering local tips, or assisting during your stay, we take pride in providing friendly, genuine service. We run the village like our own home — cleanliness, maintenance, and care are very important to us.

Jeff, a hardworking builder, can often be found repairing, improving, and upgrading different parts of the village — always making things better for our guests.

Jody is the friendly face you’ll meet at reception and the voice you’ll hear on the phone. A retired veterinary nurse (and animal lover at heart), she also keeps everything organised behind the scenes and even speaks Danish after spending a year as an exchange student in Denmark.

Our love of animals comes from our background living on a 160-acre farm with horses, chickens, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, cows, sheep, pigs, and a cat — so of course, Bushchooks is pet-friendly, and we look forward to meeting your furry travelling companions.

You’ll also be greeted by Brian and Ella, our very enthusiastic welcoming committee. Brian is a Kelpie–Whippet cross and Ella is a black Kelpie. They adore guests and are always happy to share a pat.
